Isaias Reyes
Taxco, Mexico • Silver (Plata)
Born and raised in Taxco, Mexico, I learned the art of silversmithing through the traditions that have made this region internationally recognized for fine silver craftsmanship. For generations, Taxco artisans have transformed silver into wearable works of art, combining traditional techniques with individual creativity. My work focuses on handcrafted jewelry, including rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, and custom pieces inspired by Mexican culture, natural forms, and timeless design. Each piece is carefully shaped, assembled, finished, and polished by hand with attention to detail and respect for the craft. I believe jewelry should carry meaning beyond decoration. Every piece represents hours of skilled labor, artistic expression, and the continuation of a cultural tradition that has been passed from one generation of artisans to the next.
